A tree trimmer has died after falling into a wood chipper in the San Francisco Bay area, authorities said.
The man’s name hasn’t been released, but police said he was working in Menlo Park, 25 miles south of San Francisco, when he fell.
Officers arrived to find him dead from injuries sustained after his fall, which happened just before 1pm on Tuesday.
The investigation into the man’s death will be conducted by the state’s Division of Occupational Safety and Health.
