The areas of England estimated to have the highest and lowest COVID vaccination rates for over-50s have been revealed.
Top of the list is the Stratford-on-Avon council area, where everyone aged over 50 is believed to have had a first dose.
The bottom is dominated by London boroughs, with under 66% of Westminster’s over-50s estimated to have had a vaccine so far.
The percentages were compiled using provisional data from NHS England up to 4 April and population figures from the Office for National Statistics.
All adults in the UK are due to be offered a first vaccine dose by the end of July, according to the government.
Six million people have now had both shots across all adult age groups, and more than 31.8 million have had one – that’s nearly 38 million in all, according to latest government figures.
Vaccinations have been lower so far this month because the focus is on second jabs rather than moving down the age groups.
However, they have picked up slightly since Tuesday when the lowest number of first doses since early January were administered (40,744).
