The Queen has begun her journey back to London ahead of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations this week.
The 96-year-old monarch was photographed arriving at Aberdeen airport.
She has been staying at Balmoral, her Scottish estate, for a few days before festivities begin to mark 70 years of her reign.
