A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an alleged attack on model Katie Price, which left her needing hospital treatment.

Emergency services were called to a property in Little Canfield, Essex, in the early hours of Monday morning, and Price, 43, was treated for a facial injury following the incident.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said officers were notified to reports of an assault shortly after 1.30am, by colleagues in the ambulance service.

“We arrived and found a woman had sustained a facial injury which required hospital treatment,” the police spokesperson said.

“A 32-year-old man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of assault. He remains in custody.”

Sky News has contacted representatives for Price for comment.
