A young man has died in Bristol after being found with what police described as “significant injuries”.
The man, believed to be in his late teens, was found after police were called to the Hayes Close area of Lawrence Hill at about 6.20pm on Thursday.
A force spokesperson said the youngster could not be saved and he died at the scene.
“A male has now been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody,” they added.
The victim’s identity has not been formally confirmed but his family have been informed of his death.
Police asked anyone with information to call 101 quoting reference 885 of 14 October.
