Wales have drawn their opening match of the European Championships, coming from behind to draw 1-1 against Switzerland.
Wales fell behind in the 49th minute, with Breel Embolo getting a free header from a set piece to put the Swiss in the driving seat.
The breakthrough came just moments after Daniel Ward had denied Embolo with an acrobatic save.
But Kieffer Moore, bandaged after an earlier collision, levelled things up in the 74th minute – heading in after a short corner.
He also arguably had the best chance of the first half, with another header producing a fine save from Yann Sommer.
There were nervous moments late on though, when a Gavranovic volley was eventually ruled offside.
The game was played in Baku in Azerbaijan. Matches are being played across the continent, with the final at Wembley on 11 July.
The Welsh government advised against travelling due to the pandemic, but a few hundred supporters have made the 3,000-mile trip.
Azerbaijan is on the UK’s amber list so fans will need to self isolate for 10 days on their return.
England’s first game of the Euros is against Croatia at Wembley on Sunday, while Scotland play the Czech Republic in Glasgow on Monday.
The tournament’s opening match saw Italy record a decisive 3-0 win over Turkey.
Euro 2020 was meant to be played last year but was postponed due to the pandemic.
