One lucky UK ticket holder has won the jackpot of £111m in Friday’s EuroMillions draw.
The winner, who has not yet claimed the prize, matched all five EuroMillions numbers as well as the two Lucky Star numbers.
It is the fourth UK EuroMillions jackpot winner this year – two were won in April and another was won on New Year’s Day.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said the news was “amazing”, adding: “Players are urged to check their tickets and give us a call if they think they are tonight’s lucky jackpot winner.”
The numbers were 07, 20, 36, 40, 46 and the winning Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 04.
The full prize is £111,540,000.00.
So what could the lucky winner buy to celebrate?
They could splash out on just over 58,400 bottles of Louis Roederer, Cristal Rose Vinotheque Champagne 1996, available from Harrods at £1,900 each.
They could celebrate in peace and quiet by buying a private island, such as Pumpkin Key in Florida for $95m (£67m), and still have some change left over for redecorating.
Or the property has an airstrip for private jets or a marina with space for a mega yacht – both items quite capable of eating up the rest of the prize money.
According to the 2021 Sunday Times Rich List, the winner will have around twice as much money as former One Direction star Niall Horan and about £20m more than former Take That singer Gary Barlow.
The record for the highest amount ever won in the EuroMillions was set in February, when a Swiss player took home €210m (almost £180m).
The highest UK winner claimed a jackpot of £170m in October 2019, but they chose to stay anonymous.
