A Conservative police and crime commissioner who promised a road safety crackdown has been banned from driving after she was caught speeding five times in 12 weeks.
Caroline Henry, the PCC Nottinghamshire Police, previously admitted the offences and said she was “really sorry”.
She was fined £2,450 and banned for six months for going over 30mph limits in a blue Mercedes and a Lexus with a personal number plate.
Henry was captured speeding twice near a primary school in Daybrook, Nottingham; on the A610, and in Chilwell and Beeston.
She was recorded going as fast as 40mph, as well as 38mph and 35mph.
