Tommy Fury’s father has apologised after going on a rampage at a news conference ahead of his son’s boxing bout with KSI in the autumn.
Love Island star Fury – the half-brother of heavyweight world champion Tyson – and YouTuber KSI will fight each other at Manchester’s AO Arena on 14 October.
The four-man event will also see YouTuber-turned-wrestler and boxer Logan Paul square off with mixed martial arts fighter Dillon Danis.
As Fury and KSI entered a war of words at an explosive news conference on Tuesday night, John Fury demanded they “get the ball rolling” and shouted “I’m a machine!” before flipping all three tables off the stage.
It sparked a brawl between the camps for Fury and KSI, bringing an early end to the event.
The conference had already been heated before John Fury’s outburst, with drinks bottles thrown off the table and personal insults hurled.
Tommy Fury and KSI later faced off despite the chaos, and it became physical as the YouTube star shoved Fury.
In a video posted today to social media site X, formerly known as Twitter, John Fury said he was “deeply sorry” for his rampage and will “try and improve”.
He said: “This is John Fury, this is my character, this is who I am. I’m a real person, I’m not a fake person. Nothing’s scripted, it just happens when it happens.
“I apologise for my inappropriate language. If I’ve offended anybody I’m deeply sorry.”

Before the drama onstage, Tommy Fury told the conference he would end YouTube boxing by claiming victory over KSI in October.
“I fought Jake Paul in February and I’m fighting this man [KSI] in October, and he will be done and YouTube boxing will be done. I only need one round [to win],” Fury said.
He entered a relationship with fiancée Molly-Mae on season five of Love Island. The couple recently welcomed a baby daughter, who they named Bambi.
