A teenager has been charged with murder after a 20-year-old was fatally stabbed near Manchester.
Dylan Keelan, 20, was left with stab wounds in Cheetham Hill Road, Dukinfield at about 9.30pm on Friday.
He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with murder and threatening a person with a blade or sharply pointed article in a public place.
The teenager has been remanded in custody and will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on 9 February, the force added.
In a tribute issued over the weekend, Mr Keelan’s mother Nicola described him as a “lovely, hard-working, kind and respectful boy”.
On Monday, GMP said four teenagers were arrested on suspicion of murder over the weekend and have since been released.
This included two boys who have been released under investigation and another two on conditional bail.
