Singer Nick Cave has announced that his son Jethro has died – just seven years after the death of his other son.
In a statement, he said: “With much sadness, I can confirm that my son, Jethro, has passed away.
“We would be grateful for family privacy at this time.”
Jethro was jailed in April for assaulting his mother, with his lawyers arguing he was suffering from schizophrenia that affected his judgement.
He was reportedly only released a few days ago.
The 30-year-old had worked as a model and also did some acting.
The Australian musician’s other son, Arthur, died in 2015 when he fell off a cliff in East Sussex after taking LSD.
