Reality TV star and former footballer Ashley Cain has said his young daughter has returned home after giving him “the best eight months of my life”.
Azaylia, who turned eight months old on Saturday, was given just one or two days to live almost two weeks ago after battling a rare form of leukaemia for most of her life.
The young child was diagnosed at just eight weeks old and has been through several rounds of chemotherapy, spending much of her time in hospital.

Her parents have now been told they are out of options for treating her illness.
In an emotional post this week, Cain said he would be bringing his daughter home.
He later updated his Instagram followers with snaps of Azaylia, writing: “Yesterday Azaylia returned home from hospital like the fearless little lioness that she is.
“Today is her 8th month birthday! Happy 8 months baby!… You’ve been tenacious, fearless, courageous, positive, happy and loving through times which I thought would make it impossible!
“You’ve given me the best 8 months of my life through the toughest of times. MY HERO I LOVE YOU.”
The Ex on the Beach star also shared videos of himself pushing Azaylia on a baby swing along with the caption: “I made a vow that I’d give her the nicest and most relaxed time at home.”
His partner Safiyya Vorajee also posted on Instagram, describing how she had sung happy birthday to her daughter in bed and cast her hands and feet.

“You have changed me as a women in so many ways! You are my hero happy 8month birthday pretty girl, mummy loves you soooo much,” she wrote.
Ms Vorajee earlier said the couple would be bringing Azaylia home to “give her the best possible time left that we can”.
The pair raised more than £1m to get Azaylia specialist treatment in Singapore, but they later revealed the clinic had been unable to prepare a suitable treatment as the child’s case was too “complex”.
Her story has touched many – including American actor and former wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who posted a video message in support.
Addressing Cain, he said: “I want to tell you first of all, I’m so sorry to hear about your beautiful daughter Azaylia. You tell that little lion that I said ‘let’s go champ, stay strong’.”
The actor said Azaylia has “already had this incredible impact on the world”, telling her parents: “My heart breaks for you.”
