The French club said it would be working closely with the police “to clarify the facts” and had been taking “all necessary measures” to guarantee the safety of its women’s football team.
Diallo, 26, was taken into custody on Wednesday following the alleged incident last Thursday, the club said.
In a statement, the club added: “Paris Saint-Germain condemns in the strongest possible terms the violence committed.
“Since Thursday evening the club has taken all necessary measures to guarantee the health, well-being and safety of its entire women’s team.
“Paris Saint-Germain is working with the Versailles Police to clarify the facts.
“The club is paying close attention to the progress of the proceedings and will study what action to take.”

No other names were given, but several French media reports said that midfielder Kheira Hamraoui was the victim of the alleged attack.
Broadcaster BFM TV reported that the 31-year-old was hit several times with a metal bar and needed stitches to her hands and legs.
Hamraoui re-joined PSG in the summer from Barcelona. She had previously played for PSG for four years from 2012 and has also appeared for Lyon and Saint-Etienne.
