The parents of a three-month-old baby girl who was mauled to death by a husky have been granted unconditional bail by magistrates.
Karen Alcock, 41, and Vincent King, 54, are accused of being in charge of the dangerously out-of-control dog, called Blizzard, which killed Kyra King in woodland earlier this year.
Emergency services were called to Ostlers Plantation, near Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, at around 11pm on 6 March following the attack.
Despite rescue workers’ best efforts, Kyra suffered fatal wounds to her neck and head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her mother gave no indication of her plea at Boston Magistrates’ Court in Lincolnshire on Wednesday, while her father pleaded not guilty.
The pair, from Lincolnshire, were ordered to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on 7 December for a plea and directions hearing.
