A man in his 30s has died and seven other people have been injured after police were called to reports of someone being in possession of a knife in Cornwall.
Officers were called to the area of Victoria Square on Castle Canyke Road, Bodmin, at 3.15am on Sunday following a report of a serious altercation.
Multiple people were said to have sustained suspected stab wounds.
A 24-year-old man from Bodmin has been arrested on suspicion of murder, attempted murder and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He remains in police custody.
