A man has appeared in court accused of murdering a father and son in two Cambridgeshire villages six miles apart.
Stephen Alderton, 66, was remanded in custody when he appeared at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
It comes after the bodies of Gary Dunmore, 57, and his son Joshua, 32, were found at properties in Sutton and Bluntisham on Wednesday.
Mr Alderton, of no fixed above, wore a grey tracksuit and spoke only to confirm his name, age and address. He is accused of two counts of murder and one of possession of a firearm.
He did not enter pleas and was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Cambridge Crown Court on Monday.
