Scottish Police say they have found missing 11-year-old Kaitlyn Easson “safe and well”.
Kaitlyn was reported missing after last being seen in the Gala Park area of Galashiels, a town 35 miles south of Edinburgh on Sunday.
Police Scotland issued a public appeal for information on her whereabouts, describing her disappearance as “very out of character” and that officers were growing “increasingly concerned” for her welfare.
Now the force has confirmed that she has been found “safe and well”.
A spokesperson said: “We can confirm Kaitlyn Easson reported missing from Galashiels has been traced safe and well.
“Thank you to all who shared our appeals.”
