A former assistant of alternative musician Marilyn Manson is suing the star over allegations of sexual assault, battery, and harassment.
Ashley Walters, 37, filed the lawsuit on Tuesday in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, obtained by The Cut, alleging that Manson was a “terrifying boss”, used to make her work for 48 hours straight and that he told his friends they could grope and kiss her without her consent.
Walters is the latest woman to take the singer to court over accusations of sexual assault and physical abuse.
According to the court filing, she apparently met Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, in 2010 when he messaged her on MySpace to say he liked her work, and invited her to his home.
Walters alleges that during their first meeting at Manson’s house, he pinned her down after a provocative photoshoot, to try and kiss her and force her hand into his underwear.
The lawsuit also says that Manson later threatened to kill himself and pushed Walters up against a wall in “drug induced fits of rage”.
She also adds that some of Manson’s acquaintances (who she does not name), sexually harassed her, saying he “routinely encouraged, promoted, and expected Walters to ‘please’ his friends in whatever way they desired”.
Elsewhere, Walters says that Manson destroyed things and tasked her with restoring them to their original state, and sometimes made her carry drugs in her luggage.
Manson has not responded to these allegations, but has previously denied all claims made against him.
The lawsuit also reveals that she witnessed abuse of other women that have alleged it against Manson, and that she confided in Esme Bianco, his former partner, who also accused him of physical and sexual assault.
Walters is seeking damages and other associated costs in the suit, as well as demanding that the 52-year-old receives anti-sexual violence training.
