A 38-year-old man has been arrested by Metropolitan Police officers after four people were attacked with a hammer in London.
The man is believed to have attacked two women in Regent Street at approximately 10:45pm on Friday, police said.
The women, one in her 30s and the other in her 20s, were both taken to hospital and their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
The man then used a hammer to attack a woman in her 40s and a man in his 50s at a pub in Glasshouse Street near Piccadilly Circus, the Met Police said.
Both were taken to the hospital and neither are in life-threatening conditions.
The man was detained by security staff at the pub and arrested by officers on suspicion of grievous bodily harm before he was taken into custody at a central London police station.
