A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous body harm following a stabbing near the British Museum, police say.
The Metropolitan Police say a man has been taken to hospital with a “stab wound” to his arm.
Officers say the stabbing is an “isolated incident” and there is “no outstanding risk” to the public.
“It is not being treated as terror-related,” police say.
The man’s condition is currently being “assessed” in hospital.
A police scene is expected to be in place for much of today, according to the force.
