A car thief who hid inside a giant teddy bear has been jailed for nine months.
Joshua Hobson, from Spotland, Greater Manchester, was being hunted after stealing a car and not paying for fuel in May.
Officers went to a property in Rochdale but could not find him.
That was until one officer noticed a large teddy bear breathing, before finding Dobson hidden inside.
In a post on Facebook, GMP Rochdale said: “He’s now stuffed behind bars after being sentenced last week for theft of a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified, and making off from a petrol station without payment.
“Hopefully he has a bearable time inside.”
