Finland’s prime minister has denied any suggestion of drug taking and said she’s “disappointed” that videos of her partying have been made public.
Sanna Marin was filmed playing to the camera and dancing wildly with friends in social media clips.
One of the people in the videos is believed to shout out a euphemism for cocaine, according to Finnish site Iltalehti.
Ms Marin, 36, has been criticised by political opponents, but media in Finland quoted her as denying using drugs – or seeing any at the party – and saying she’d only drunk alcohol.
The prime minister, one of the world’s youngest leaders, said she had nothing to hide and that the videos were meant to be shared just among her group.
The party is said to have taken place a few weeks ago at private flats and several Finnish media personalities appear in the clips.
“I’m disappointed that they’ve become public. I spent the evening with friends. Partied, pretty wild, yes. Danced and sang,” Finland broadcaster YLE quoted her as saying.

In December, the prime minister was forced to apologise for going clubbing after being exposed to COVID-19.
She was initially told she didn’t need to self-isolate, but then missed a text telling her the opposite because she’d left her work phone at home.
Ms Marin became prime minister in 2019 at age 34.
