A 25-year-old woman has been charged with murdering her mother.
Anna Jones was found dead at her home in Station Road, Petersfield, in Hampshire, at 8pm on Tuesday.
Detectives investigating the 44-year-old’s death charged Bronwyn Jones, of Jacaranda Road, Bordon, with her murder.
She appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Friday and was remanded in custody to appear at the city’s crown court on 15 May.
A Hampshire police spokesman said Anna Jones’ next of kin were informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
