Dame Helen Mirren has joined that cast of the Shazam! sequel, marking her first role in a superhero film.
The 75-year-old will star as Hespera, the daughter of Atlas, in the highly-anticipated DC Comics sequel Shazam! Fury Of The Gods.
Dame Helen has been nominated for four Oscars in her career, winning the Academy Award for best actress in 2006 for her part in The Queen.

While he is bestowed with the powers of six gods – Soloman, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles and Mercury – he is also trying to navigate high school.
