Bruce Willis has been singled out in the infamous Razzie awards with his own category of acting ineptness for the year 2021.
Now in its 42nd year, the annual Golden Raspberry Awards – known as the Razzies – honours the worst in movies, handing out accolades for what are deemed to be lowlights of the Hollywood year.
A new “special” category was also introduced at this year’s awards: Worst Performance By Bruce Willis In A 2021 Movie.
The Die Hard actor, 66, went up against himself eight times within the category listing all eight of his forgettable films from the year – including American Siege, Apex, Cosmic Sin, Deadlock and Out Of Death.
Meanwhile, the film version of a musical based on the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, led the nominations at the awards – being put up for the likes of worst picture and worst actress.
Diana the Musical garnered a total of nine nods in major categories including worst picture, worst actor, worst actress, and worst director.
It was originally performed at the Longacre Theatre on Broadway in New York before the film was released on Netflix in October last year.

The Razzies described it as “Broadway’s biggest bomb of the year… which didn’t even last 40 performances” after it was closed in December after just 33 regular shows.
The film was also nominated for worst supporting actor and actress, worst screen couple and worst screenplay.
Other nominees at this year’s Razzies included basketball star LeBron James, who was put up for worst actor for his role in the remake of Michael Jordan’s Space Jam: A New Legacy, which also received three other nods.
In usual fashion, the Razzies ridiculed former Oscar winners, nominating helpless ham Jared Leto for House of Gucci, Ben Affleck for The Last Duel and Mel Gibson for Dangerous in the worst supporting actor category.
The Razzies nominations were announced the day before those of the 94th Academy Awards.
More than 1,100 Razzie members from across the US and around two dozen other countries vote on the awards,
according to its official website.
The winners will be announced on 26 March – a day before the Oscars results.
