A Briton could scoop the biggest National Lottery win in history if they choose the correct numbers in Friday’s EuroMillions draw.

An estimated total of £172m is available if the jackpot is scooped by a single ticket holder.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, said: “Friday’s exciting EuroMillions jackpot is an estimated £172 million.

“If one UK winner banks the entire sum, they would instantly become Britain’s biggest ever National Lottery winner.”

A sole jackpot win would eclipse the UK’s current record prize of £170,221,000, which was won by an anonymous player in a EuroMillions draw on 8 October 2019.

The winning main EuroMillions numbers in Tuesday’s draw were 11, 13, 14, 36, 45, and the winning lucky star numbers were 07, 09.

No one won the top prize.

This year has already been a good one for huge lottery payouts, with two of the 10 biggest wins coming in 2021.

An anonymous ticket holder won £122,550,350 in a draw on 2 April, while £111,540,000 was claimed in a SuperDraw two months later.

To put Friday’s prize in perspective, a potential winner would immediately earn 5,467 times the average UK salary, could afford to purchase more than 340 average properties in London, and would surpass world tennis number one Novak Djokovic’s career winnings (£110m) – with enough left over to buy a G6 private jet (£47,650,000).
