Four teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man.
The four boys, one aged 14 and three aged 15, were among six people arrested as part of an investigation into the death of a man in Shropshire.
A 42-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man have also been taken into custody on suspicion of assisting offenders.
West Mercia Police were called to a footpath near Stonebridge Close, Telford, around 7.20pm on Friday, after reports that a man in his 20s was seriously injured.
The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance but died later that evening.
Chief Inspector Helen Kinrade said: “We understand this will be extremely concerning to the community.
“We would like to reassure the public the investigation is ongoing and this is believed to be an isolated incident”.
