Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds has said a curry house in a town in Cheshire has the “best Indian food in Europe”.
The star of Deadpool and Free Guy dished out the high praise in a post to his 44 million Instagram followers on Saturday night.
The co-owner of Wrexham had earlier watched his team beat Maidstone United 5-0 before enjoying his takeaway from the Light Of India in Ellesmere Port.
In his brief post, he didn’t reveal what he had ordered but it had clearly been as big a success as Wrexham’s performance in the National League.
Reynolds has been in the UK with his Wrexham co-owner, actor Rob McElhenney, ahead of the launch of a new documentary on Disney Plus.
The streaming series, Welcome To Wrexham, will showcase their new venture with the football club.
