A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a baby was found dead in central London.
Officers were called to a street in Bloomsbury on Monday afternoon after reports of a concern for welfare.
Paramedics also rushed to the scene but were unable to revive the baby who was discovered dead.
An investigation has been launched and enquiries continue.
The man detained on suspicion of murder was taken into custody.
