At least 10 people are dead and many injured in a fire at a casino and hotel in Poipet, Cambodia, according to local media reports.
The fire at the Grand Diamond City Casino started at about midnight on Wednesday, according to the General Commissariat of National Police.
Firefighters and other emergency workers were still trying to extinguish the flames on Thursday morning, the report said, adding that firefighters had come from as far as Thailand.
The website Cambodianess, which belongs to the Thmey Thmey media group, quoted Banteay Meanchey provincial Police Commissioner Major General Sithi Loh as saying that 30 people had been injured.
Footage on social media showed guests hanging out of windows or trapped inside the building.
Poipet is a city in Banteay Meanchey Province in western Cambodia, on the border with Thailand.
