Two men shot dead in a triple shooting in east London have been named by police.
Saydi Abu Sheikh, 23, and Zakariya Jeilani Mohamed, 32, died of gunshot wounds at the scene in Ilford in the early hours of Tuesday.
A third man, 30, who was also discovered injured was taken to hospital, where he remains in a life-threatening condition, the Met Police said.
The families of Mr Sheikh and Mr Mohamed, who were both from Ilford, are being supported by specialist officers, the force added.
No arrests have been made, but detectives say they are pursuing “a number of lines of inquiry”.
The incident took place inside a house in Henley Road, and a car linked to the shooting was found in nearby Ronnie Road.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Wood, who is leading the investigation, said: “This was an unspeakable act of extreme violence that has devastated two families and sent shock waves throughout the community.
