The public has been warned by police not to approach a man who escaped custody while in hospital.
Curtis Alldis, 30, was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of GBH, breach of bail and assaulting an emergency worker.
While in custody he told officers that he was unwell and was taken to hospital in Ealing as a precaution.
At about 1.50pm on Thursday, he absconded, the Metropolitan Police said.
“If seen, members of the public are advised not to approach Alldis but call 999,” the force said.
Alldis has links to Uxbridge and Hayes in west London, it added.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD 7198/29Jun.
