Police are searching for two men after a 20-year-old was “doused in petrol and set on fire” while sitting in his car at a petrol station.
Officers have released pictures of two men they want to speak to about the attack at a Texaco garage in the town of Dudley last Thursday evening.
The victim was seriously injured but is in a stable condition in hospital.
West Midlands Police have named one of the men as Stephen Burden, 30, who has links to Wednesbury in the Black Country.
He was captured on CCTV wearing a Nike Air sweatshirt.
The second man is shown wearing a blue Adidas tracksuit.
The attack took place at about 7pm at a Texaco garage on Himley Road.

Detective Inspector Jackie Nicholson said: “We urgently need to speak to both of these men and I would like to appeal to them directly to make contact as soon as possible.
“We have trawled CCTV in the area, spoken to a number of witnesses and our inquiries are ongoing.”
