Simon Cowell has been spotted sporting a new yellow arm cast after a bike accident in west London.
Flashing a thumbs up to the cameras as he left his home in west London with fiancee Lauren Silverman, the 62-year-old appeared to confirm he was OK following his reported crash on an electric bike last week.
He was later seen in London’s Holland Park with the new accessory on his left arm, also wearing a black puffer jacket and aviator sunglasses.
It comes 18 months after a similar incident in Los Angeles, which saw Cowell break his back and have to have six hours of surgery to fit a rod.
Cowell’s latest accident apparently involved him going over the handlebars of his electric bike near his home, according to The Sun.
A source told the newspaper that Cowell, who was said to not be wearing a helmet, was “lucky to be alive”, adding that members of the public helped him.
He then reportedly had an X-ray at hospital, with the source saying: “Simon was eventually released that evening – his arm in a yellow cast all the way up to the shoulder – and told to rest.
