Emergency services are responding to an “incident” outside Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
Images from outside the hospital on Sunday show a car enveloped in flames, before burning out.
Merseyside Police confirmed “an incident occurred at around 11am”.
“A cordon around the affected area has been established and a number of surrounding roads have been closed,” a spokesperson said.
“Emergency services are currently at the scene assessing the situation.”
