Two people have been charged with murdering a baby four years ago.
Ollie Davis was four weeks old when he was found unresponsive in his cot on 21 October 2017 in Upper Temple Walk, Leicester.
Kayleigh Driver, 29, and Michael Davis, 27, have been charged with his murder, causing or allowing the death of a child, two counts of causing grievous bodily harm, and causing or allowing a child to suffer serious physical harm.
They were arrested shortly after Ollie’s death and Leicestershire Police say a complex investigation has been under way ever since.
The alleged offences are said to have happened between 9 October and 21 October 2017.
Davis and Driver, of Carlisle Street, Leicester, will appear at a magistrates’ court in the city today.
