Police are searching for a driver after a woman, 23, was killed in a suspected hit-and-run in west London
The Met Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after the fatal fail to stop collision near the BBC Television Centre in White City on Tuesday.
Officers were called to Wood Lane near to the junction with the Westway just before 10am.
Emergency services found a woman, believed to be 23, who was pronounced dead at the scene, Scotland Yard said in a statement.
The force said her next of kin have now been informed.
“Initial enquiries suggest her injuries were caused as a result of a road traffic collision,” the statement said.
“No vehicles stopped at the scene and an investigation is under way.

“Anyone who witnessed a collision should call 101, giving the reference 2081/19OCT,” police added.
“Drivers who were in the area at the time are encouraged to check any dash-cam footage they may have.”
