Kate Moss has been described as “THE fashion icon” by Kim Kardashian West after she was unveiled as the face of the influencer’s clothing brand SKIMS.

The 47-year-old supermodel posed topless in her first shoot for Kardashian West’s collection, while also modelling the brand’s underwear.

Sharing a gushing tribute to Moss online, Kardashian West wrote: “Introducing Kate Moss for @SKIMS.

“I first met @katemossagency in 2014 through Ricardo Tisci, and was instantly struck by her cheeky humour, authentic and classic beauty – we’ve been friends ever since!

“She is THE fashion icon, defining a whole generation of style and I am honoured to feature her as the new face of SKIMS this Summer!”

The pair were spotted together last month visiting the Vatican alongside Moss’ 18-year-old daughter Lila.

Kardashian West’s news comes off the back of a number of announcements about her brands, following the end of her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

It was recently revealed that SKIMS would be providing Team USA’s underwear and sleepwear for the Tokyo Olympics later this month.

Her KKW beauty company is also undergoing a rebrand.

Kardashian West is currently going through divorce proceedings with husband Kanye West, who has now moved away from their California home to his ranch in Wyoming.

Divorce papers cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, with the pair sharing joint custody of their four children.
