A British Airways plane has been damaged after it collapsed onto its nose at Heathrow Airport.
BA said it was a freight aircraft and there were no passengers on board.
A spokesman said: “A freighter aircraft has been damaged while stationary on stand. As a freighter-only aircraft there were no passengers on board.
“Safety is always our highest priority and we are investigating the matter.”
Images show the nose of the aircraft on the ground with no front landing gear supporting it.
Police, fire brigade and ambulance vehicles were also seen around the plane, believed to be a Boeing 787.
The incident is not affecting other flights at Heathrow, the UK’s busiest airport.
