A man has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender following the fatal stabbing of a woman pushing her baby in a pram in Bradford.
West Yorkshire Police said a 23-year-old man had been arrested as part of the investigation.
Officers also named the victim as 27-year-old Kulsama Akter, and said that the force has referred itself to the local police coordinator as it had previous contact with the deceased.
Police were called to Westgate in Bradford city centre on Saturday afternoon after reports of a woman being stabbed by a man who then fled.
Ms Akter later died in hospital. The baby was not harmed and is safe.
Police have launched a manhunt and are searching for Habibur Masum.
The 25-year-old from the Oldham area has links to Burnley and Chester. He is described as an Asian man, of slim build.
