A man has been charged after a spaniel was killed in an attack by two dogs in Stirling.
Police Scotland told Sky News it was unable to confirm the breed of the dogs involved in the fatal attack, which occurred in the Braemar Park area of Dunblane on Monday 11 March.
In an update on Tuesday evening, the force said a 20-year-old man had been charged in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said the two dogs suspected to have been involved in the attack had been traced – with one being euthanised and another taken into secure kennels.
