Three boys and a woman have been arrested following an alleged disturbance near to a secondary school.

Emergency services were called to Scott Drive in Cumbernauld, near to Greenfaulds High School, at around 1.10pm on Tuesday.

Police Scotland said a 37-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

Two male teenagers, aged 13 and 14, were also charged – with reports submitted to the relevant authorities – while a third boy, aged 15, was also arrested.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Further enquiries are ongoing.”

North Lanarkshire Council was contacted for comment.
