Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla) said Sunday that the passage of a continuing resolution was a total defeat for Republicans.
“We did not get anything out of this continuing resolution,” Donalds said on “Fox News Sunday.”
Donalds said the deal, among other things, did nothing to fix problems at the southern border.
“The border is still unsecured in our country,” he said. “That’s because Joe Biden and the Democrats got their way. … I think this is a terrible deal for the American people.”
Donalds also said that he thinks Speaker Kevin McCarthy is in jeopardy of losing his job. “There are a lot of trust issues in my chamber right now,” Donalds added.
