An 84-year-old man has died after reportedly being knocked over by a dog on a canal path – and a woman has been charged.
Police Scotland said the woman is accused of an offence in relation to being in charge of an animal, rather than in connection with the pensioner’s death.
The incident reportedly occurred on the Forth and Clyde Canal path near Erskine Bridge on Monday 22 May.
