Multiple victims, including a police officer, have been reported after a shooting at a high school in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Police said it happened at Austin-East Magnet High School with “multiple gunshot victims reported, including a KPD officer”.
There is no information yet on the state of the victims.
The superintendent of Knox County Schools, Bob Thomas, tweeted that the building had now been secured and students who weren’t involved had been released to their families.
Local TV pictures showed police and fire crews surrounding the school in east Knoxville.
